The following motion will be put to amend Rule 9.3 (a) as follows:
"Nomination of candidates for election as member of the committee will be called for at least 4 weeks prior to the annual general meeting of the association at which elections will be held. The notice calling for nominations must list those committee members retiring and offering themselves for re-election and those positions requiring a new appointment.
Currently the requirement is at least 8 weeks
As required by Rule 9.2 (d) all committee members are to retire at the Annual General Meeting. The following committee members will therefore be retiring and where indicated are presenting for re-election or renomination by one of the founder clubs.

Members of the Boroondara Hawks Junior Football Club wishing to nominate for the committee must do so by lodging written intention to nominate, signed by a member (other than the candidate), and delivered to the Secretar, 20 Chatham Road Canterbury no later than Monday 7th November 2011.If required a ballot for election of members will be held at the Annual General Meeting.

YJFL AFL Victoria Metropolitan Junior Championship Coaches
The Yarra Junior Football League is seeking suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches for the 2012 AFL Victoria Metropolitan Junior Championships. The Championships are normally run over 4 to 5 weeks in June/July and are for the Under 14, 15 and Youth Girls age groups.
The successful applicants will be involved in the selection process and training which starts in March/April and requires a commitment of at least two nights per week and talent identification on weekends. The successful applicants will work closely with the League to ensure the best outcomes for players, volunteers and the League. They must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly organised and have a proven ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Successful applicants will be motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team. At least 5 years’ experience in coaching is desirable and all applicants must be appropriately accredited.
A current Working with Children (WWC) check will be required.
