BOROONDARA HAWKS JFC

Boroondara  JFC

Boroondara Hawks Junior Football Club (BHJFC) is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all children and young people who participate in its football programs. BHJFC wants children and young people from all backgrounds to feel safe, happy and that they belong.

BHJFC has zero tolerance to any form of child abuse or harm that may occur in a physical or online environment and any allegations will be treated seriously, in a culturally sensitive manner and in line with the club’s policies and reporting procedure.

As a junior football club we take the safety and wellbeing of all our participants seriously and view child safety as a shared responsibility from all members and volunteers at BHFJC.

The Child Safe Standards have been introduced by Victorian State Government as a compulsory, minimum standard of safety in all organisations providing services to children. More information regarding the League and the Child Safe Standards can be found here.

Our Child Safety Commitment will be continually reviewed and updated annually.
